After careful and complex restoration, the fifth Adams maintains the soul of yore. The sober decoration are in perfect harmony with the genuine traits of their construction, featuring now of modern accommodation and recreational spaces that invite you to a relaxing stay of charm. Located in Praça Velha, this 16th-century Manueline-style building stands out for its architecture and the elements that characterize it. A house with a rectangular plan and two floors, construction attributed to the House of Bragança. The "Paços do Concelho", the Courthouse and the Municipal Administration were located here until the beginning of the 20th century. Later it had other functions, namely Jailhouse of the parish on the first floor that still has windows with iron bars. On the south façade, one can view two lateral flights of stairs that unite before the second floor with an entrance topped by the House of Bragança's coat of arms.
