This old stream where the population used to come to get water is currently dry.

It is thought that this castle was built in the 10th or 11th century by Muslims, having served as a military refuge to support Silves Castle. Today only a few walls and a cistern remain, hidden in the middle of vegetation and between cork oaks.

This fortress is located by the seashore road and is partially hidden by some woods. It is called "Forte Velho" (Old Fortress) due to the fact that it is the oldest in the region. It was built by Dom Filipe I and enlarged by Dom João IV in 1643.

Street that was open in the beginning of the XIX century, hiding the “rio de vila”, an ancient river that dived the city in two, flowing into the Douro. In this street you can find the small fountain Mouzinho da Silveira.

The Municipal swimming pool is open to the public from September to July each year and aims to encourage sports in the municipality of Moita. To this end, it offers a wide range of activities, from water aerobics to recreational swimming.
