Belonging to the Ancient Massif of Trás-os-Montes, this mountain is located in the extreme northwest of the national territory, between the Douro River and the Sabor River, rising to around 993 meters. The forest landscape has a predominance of pine and chestnut trees, interspersed with some cultivated spaces. The excellent viewpoints stand out: Pico de São Cristóvão and Alto da Castanheira.

Located on the north side of the Bay of Horta, just outside of town, Praia da Conceição stands out for its soft and dark sands and the beautiful location, with the Marina South and the no less imposing Pico Island on the horizon. A village with cultivated fields, situated on the lower part of the slope. Among its cultural heritage, the manor houses from the 18th and 19th centuries stand out, with their agricultural outbuildings and group of granaries, the chapel of Santo Antônio, the wayside shrines, the cross, and Monte do Castro. Near Cabriz are the "Cai d'Alto" waterfalls, several traditional mills, and the Mandragoso leisure park.

This public facility, unique in the region, has an indoor riding arena for teaching and training vaulting, a show jumping arena with obstacles and facilities for the rider, sanitary facilities, changing rooms, and fourteen stalls designed to house various equines, whether of the Garrano or Lusitano breed. It also has a bar and a restaurant, offering excellent conditions for carrying out diverse activities.

This village, with around 200 inhabitants, is located in the Vila Verde parish, where farming and granite extraction stand out. In fact, most of the houses at Perafita are built in granite. A special note to the mother hurch (known as the Sanctuary of Our Lord of Perafita and dating back to the second half of the 18th century) and to the fountain at the base of the churche's belltower. The gastronomy includes sausages and smoked ham.

Located on the right bank of the Côa river, to the north of the Malcata mountain, it became a part of the Portuguese territory in 1296 as a result of the Treaty of Alcanices. The area insid the walls still has some of the original features and is a valuable cultural heritage. Among the several monuments, the castle and the walls, the mother church, the romanesque-gothic church of misericórdia and the medieval bridge on the Côa river stand out.
