The Theatre Chaby Pinheiro is locatd by the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, at the "Sítio". It is an early 20th century building, planned by the architect Ernestro Korrodi & Thieraga. It has a rather rich interior that contrasts with its simple facade. It is on of the most important places in town where cultural activities take place.

It was probably built in the second half of the 18th century, on the site of a previous Temple existed, not left, however, traces of this early construction.
