This is a Romanic temple that used to belong to the first convent of Cluny in Portugal and it suffered several transformations on the XVII and XVIII century. From this granite construction it is worth to mention the sculptures adorning the multiple capitals and two granite sculptures from the XII century. IT should be mentioned that this church had origins in a chapel with small dimensions dated from the Reconquest period.

This building has sober lines in consequence of the conjunction of various bodies in different levels. The building plan is developed around one chapel which is the axis from the composition and in which it is possible to see the major decorations.

These are the only natural salt pans in Portugal. Located 30 kilometers from the sea, they have 400 tanks, from which salt is extracted from a depth of about 10 meters. Between May and September, the salt is collected, after the water (which contains about 200 to 300 grams of salt) is collected and evaporated after a week.

Is a relatively new Church, dating from the 18th century. Before the Church was a Chapel of St. John of the Tip, which was the parish. In the 17th century, due to population growth, the parish became Paradela from the river. The village of Tip is much older than the village of Paradela from the River, one of the oldest documents that it references is the testament of San Rosendo, dating from the 10th century has the name of St. John's Church, although the only Saint John that existed at the time was at the tip.
