The building has been totally demolished, between 1988 and 1993, and only the façade of the Rua Nova da Trindade (street) was spared. The demolition made visible a section of the wall pre-existing, that is now inside the construction.

15th century monument built by Dom Afonso, Count of Barcelos. Large building, with four bodies that surround an interior courtyard with a rectangular plan.
