A wide, easily accessible beach, its wide stretch of sand is sheltered from the strong north winds and ends on a cliff to the south. Quite attended by surfers. Everey year it welcomes a competition of the World Bodyboard Championship and yet another of the Surf European Championship. Those who dislike the sea turbulence, may choose the sea water pool. On the surrounding cliffs there are pedestrian trails with wonderful landscapes. It has a first aid post, high quality restaurants, several terraces with many youngters and lively evenings.

Considered the largest archaeological crypt in the country, it is located beneath the Castle of Alcácer do Sal, now transformed into the Pousada D. Afonso II. It presents traces of the Iron Age dating from the 6th century BC, as well as structures from the Roman period and the Islamic occupation, covering a considerable area. Medieval walls from the post-Reconquista Christian era were also found, based partially on Roman walls which, in turn, overlap older pre-existing structures dating from the Iron Age.

Pedestrian route measuring approximately twelve kilometers and lasting approximately four hours. It is located in the Serra de Montejunto, at the northern end of the Protected Landscape, and extends through the parish of Cercal. It passes through cultivated fields, vineyards and Rocha pear orchards. In the distance, you can still see the Relvo windmills.

Located just a few metres away from Albufeira's beach and some minutes away from the town's centre, this inn is a welcoming and familiar space. On the top of the building, from where one can see the beach and the ocean, there is a terrace with chaises longues, tables, chairs and a barbecue. Peaceful atmosphere, good for relaxing.

This 17TH-century House, is located on a farm with 13 acres of wine exploitation and allows to see the Douro River. It was formerly a Convent of the Franciscan Order. The home features four bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, agricultural warehouse of wines, mills and points of sale of the wines of the quinta. The dining service must be marked with a week in advance.

Viewpoint located just outside the city of Horta, which runs along both sides of the main road, in a completely antagonistic view. On one side you can see Praia do Almoxarife and the rural landscape. On the other, the city of Horta in all its splendor, with the marina and Monte da Guia in the background.

Very old church, which was being deeply changed inside, where you can see granite pavement, the 17th century font on the side of the Gospel and the altarpieces of Baroque 18th century national structure. Composed of nave and chancel, this church preserves a belfry with a schema of three ventanas, very rare in this district.

Built in 1530, the temple underwent several alterations, mainly during the 18th century. From the original design, it retains the giants that support the main chapel. It features a round-arched portico with cherubs. Inside, one can see the tomb of Jorge Melo, dating from 1540, one of the most sumptuous in Portugal.

In a landscape of enormous cliffs, you will find the "Garganta do Rio Olo", a 100 meter high waterfall, integrated into the Alvão Natural Park. Access is via the village of Ermelo. From Alto do Fojo, you can see a beautiful panorama of Fisgas de Ermelo, where the Olo River falls.

Small beach between the cliffs with sand areas you can only see in low water. The access is done through a stone stair, the elevator that belongs to the urbanization existing here or through the tunnel that connects to the Três Irmãos beach. It is a great option to diving lovers. There is a restaurant coated on the rocks, with high prices.
