The tower of Lanhelas is located on the left bank of the Minho river and dates back to the 15th century. Even though it went through many changes, it still has a garden structured with boxwood hedges. It is private property and may not be visited.

An extremely beautiful house, dating back to 1780. Dona Maria considered it an outstanding building. It was adapted in oredr to house the Musical Academy of Paredes. Visits can only take place when the Academy is functioning and with previous authorization.

This cultural cooperative was established in 1988 and today is comprised of about 300 co-workers who, since the Foundation, develop numerous cultural initiatives, without forgetting the citizenship component which closes only on artists. For those coming from the west, this is the last beach, overlooking the Spanish town of Ayamonte. Despite its popularity, it offers a peaceful stay and is also sought after by amateur fishermen. Here you can enjoy the sea, the Guadiana River, or stroll through the National Forest of the Coastal Dunes. The sand is extensive and without obstacles.
