The history of portrait of Memory dates back to 1931, when Ignatius Alfredo Fernandes, solicitor in Ferreira do Alentejo, send build this House that, even today, is still in the family, now with contemporary notes, but without losing the identity of Alentejo. The milestone, one of the testimonies of the Antiquities of Oliveira de Azeméis, was found during the demolition of the Church of Ul, in the late 18th century.
