Opened in 2007, was the 14th Center to integrate the Live Science Network, which shows us the world of energy and the environment. It consists of two buildings: the monitoring and Environmental Interpretation Centre and the Home of silk. The first consists of interactive modules on the environment, energy, recycling. Silk's House is part of a former mill, probably used in the dyeing process of silk, in the 18th and 19th centuries.

It is the largest urban park in the country, with an area of 83 hectares that extends to the sea. Designed by the architect Sidónio Pardal, it is an open space with water mirrors, lawns, small woods and about 10 km of paths. It has excellent conditions for the practice of sports or, simply, for walking in contact with Nature. In the park, you can also visit the Water Pavilion and the Sea Life aquarium.

A former monastery founded in 1725 to serve as a hospital and hostel for the friars of the Third Order who used the thermal baths. The convent area consists of the temple, cloister, and monastic outbuildings. Of the former monastery, only the church remains, with the interior featuring tiles and the image of the Virgin and Child. It has a working carillon and is occasionally open for classical music and traditional regional music concerts.

The house of the Ferrazes Bravos is a noble house from the first half of the XVII century. It has a chapel on the limitrophe that opens to the ground. The main façade and the posterior have a resistant element and frames in carved granite work. To get to the noble floor you’ll have to climb a stairs with various columns and capitals also in granite. The forged iron bars at the balconies stand out.
