On this building, the façade covered with azulejos panels from the second half of the XVII century stands out. This azulejos (tiles), made in Lisbon, describe episodes of the Holy Mary’s life.

The Hotel Rural Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo was the first wine hotel created in Portugal and is located in Sabrosa. In complete harmony with the landscape, is housed in a Manor House with magnificent 11 bedrooms, where the renovations retained the original. Has an eighteenth century chapel and swimming pool on the terrace over the Valley. Guests can participate in wine tasting, shopping and gourmet wine shop and still participate in rural activities such as harvesting fruit and olives. Here, tranquility is synonymous with charm.

Mikdad da Costa Victorino is an Impressionist painter, pupil of Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro, whose works are in several national museums. He died at his home, the March 23, 1969, having the building entered into degradation, being recently reclaimed by the Town Hall of Sertã, which turned him into a cultural space.

16th century Church consists of nave, chancel, baptistery, sacristy, belfry and sanitary facilities.
