The Porta da Devesa dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries and forms an archway over Rua 5 de Outubro. Its name comes from the fact that it separated the town proper from the fertile countryside that followed it at the time, or even because it was the terminus of that same town.

As the name suggests, is the marble that prevails, given that this hotel belongs to a family that is dedicated to this business for generations. The restaurant focuses on regional flavours, Narcissus at the touch of the chef Pedro Mendes. In the cellar, plus there are digestive cigars. The Stone spa are various treatments, hot and cold baths and hammam.

The space of the Solar do Bacalhau restaurant is huge and occupies an old name of gastronomic reference in Coimbra. From a famous Italian, it has become a traditional one also famous where, now, cod is king, here served in its most diverse forms: in onions, cooked with everyone, roasted or on bread. But there is life beyond cod. The sirloin steak with mustard sauce is proof of this, as well as the offer of pizzas that, although unlikely in a restaurant of this kind, are delicious.

The restaurant Bola de Prata, on guard, reopened in 2013, with a new approach. From traditional snack bar is assumed now with a modern Tavern, with traditional dishes and good snacks. Gizzards, woodpecker, blood sausage and pig ear Guard are some of the options to consider. If you choose the ordinaries (6,50 €, with entrees, soup, main, dessert and coffee), the right choice is the posta mirandesa. In the cold winter days beirão can rely on the warmth of the fireplace.

The nobleman was a House that began in Help and quickly became famous for cuisine of chef Fair Noble. Now, your address is in the small field, but the gastronomic quality is the same, if not better. Beautiful space, with a nice waiting room. In the dining room, the fireplace warms the body and soul of Diners. The specialties are, necessarily, the crab soup and grouper with lobster, cataplana but transmontanas influences portray yourself in dishes such as leg of lamb in the oven, bacalhau à minhota and Partridge to England.

The village of Álvaro is part of the network of shale villages. It preserves an admirable religious heritage, which is why it is assumed that, in times gone by, it would have been an important region for religious orders. The Circuito das Capelas (Chapel's Circuit) will allow you to observe the remains of the religious history of this village.

Located in the centre of Cascais, this typical Irish pub is a peaceful and pleasant space with ambient music and accessible prices. From 5 pm to 7 pm it is Happy Hour time, when Guiness beer is served at half the normal price. It has live music on thursdays, fridays and saturdays.

Dating back to 1607, this convent was sacked by pirates in 1616 and in 1675.
