Set of 12 funerary monuments. Can we find dolmens, antelas and presenters, made generically, by:-local Chamber where the dead entombed along with some objects, (e.g. ceramic pots, polished stone tools and in Flint, adorner objects in bone or stone, ritual objects); the access corridor; tumulus-mound of Earth and stones that covered the part of eternity monument.

The Art Center began its activities in May 1986, with the intention of creating a space that would allow privileged access to cultural initiatives in terms of visual arts, as well as training in very specific areas of art not covered in academic curricula. It offers courses in painting, printmaking, tapestry, photography, and screen printing, among others, and activities such as exhibitions, workshops, and colloquia.

Built between the second half of the 13th century and the beginning of the 14th century, the Vilar Tower is a symbol of seigniorial power over the territory and proof of the existence of a "domus fortis," a fortified manor house in the Sousa Valley. It is a five-story building with granite ashlar masonry. The tower was illuminated by Romanesque-style arrow slits and accessed through an arched doorway with a tympanum.

This XVIII century work was built to supply water to Lisbon. The sketch of this monument goes from Alcântara to Campolide, and it is possible to make the way that goes over the Calouste Gulbenkian Avenue and, from then on, observe Lisbon and the Tejo River.

The museum opened in 1982 after a donation from the antique dealer Manuel Gameiro, with the City Council providing the building. It is divided into five themed rooms, allowing for an understanding of national and local history from the 18th century.
