This religious monument consists of a three-bay nave, a chancel, side chapels, a sacristy, and a bell tower. The main façade consists of a rounded portal and a circular oculus, flanked by a bell tower, the upper one having a double bell tower. This façade features a window overlooking the Stations of the Cross. The interior features the baptistery, which houses the baptismal font, the Mannerist niche, the painted panels of the chancel and altarpiece, and the Christ the Redeemer statue on the tabernacle door.

This fortification was built in the 12th and 13th centuries and later expanded by King Dinis. During the Manueline period, some alterations were made, of which the portal that gave access to the drawbridge remains. It also preserves the alcazaba with its pentagonal-based keep, the Torre das Cinco Quinas (Tower of the Five Corners), protected by machicolations and turrets, and the ring of walls that surrounds the town. Of particular note are the thickness and height of the alcazaba's curtain walls and the existence of the barbican.

This Chapel belonged to leprosaria 12TH century, having been abandoned in 1292 with the change from the hospital. In the 16th century was restored in Renaissance molds. The chapel reveals in its architecture the artistic moments that passed: Lancet arches, images from the 16th century and 17TH century tiles. Mudéjar-Manueline construction, from the beginning of the 16th century. Protected by seven small cylindrical towers, it is crowned with Muslim-style battlements. The facade is from the 18th century, with a triangular pediment, a tower with a square plan and a portico with squared jambs and lintels on the main facade. The interior has three naves with a ribbed vault. The altarpiece features four oil painting panels from the second half of the 16th century.

Built in the mid-17th century, the house underwent several alterations throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Eleven windows with wrought-iron grilles remain from the original construction. The main door and the window above it date from the 18th century. Coats of arms of the residents can be seen on the corners of the building. Also noteworthy is the square, cornered turret with a mat roof and four windows, dating from the 19th century.
