Stone House which preserves the ancient but is adapted to the needs of modern comfort.

This is one of the only examples of 16th century urban houses of the County that arrived to this day.

Also known as the Door of the County, features a broken arch and is covered with vault compliant.

Building composed of three bodies, a recent construction, and two oldest, a 19TH century datable\/XX, where the current Auditorium, and the old jail, built in the 17th century. Was greatly modified when it proceeded to adapt the library and Municipal Museum of Walks, but there are the facades of the old jail and an annex building with residential features.

About 10 km away from Mértola, on the EN-265 (a National Road), on the way to Serpa, in the centre of the village of Moreanes, this is a popular restaurant of the Alentejo region. It has a larg room and large arches on the ceiling. The fireplace makes it even cozier.

This building, where I ran the old Municipal Town Hall and jail, receives, currently, several cultural and recreational initiatives.
