The monastery of Ferreira is a typical example of an ecclesiastical establishment of agrarian roots. It is a remarkable rural Romanesque construction dating from the last quarter of the 12th century. The facade is torn by a portal that is unparalleled in the Cathedral of Zamora. Its architectural ensemble is part the Church of S. Pedro de Ferreira, being your frame a single copy in the country. The interior is just one ship, with more than 15 meters in height. A monument of a unique beauty and a magnificent surrounding landscape.

Mannerist and Baroque Temple nave only, with Bell duo. Inside, features of Mannerist structure altarpieces and Baroque chancel altarpiece of national style.

Built in the XVII century, it suffered reconstruction works after the earthquake. At the cloister, squared, open arched galleries that lodge the chapels of the Senhor dos Passos and the Encarnação, covered with carving, sculptures and glazed tiles. The church, with one nave only, has the lateral walls covered with paintings and glazed tiles.

Single building with ornamented doors and a cross on top. Inside the chapel, stand out some paintings and the golden carving main altar.
