Created in 1918, it was, for some time, lodged at the ancient Bishop’s Palace, where he left from in the 80’s. Its collection is mostly archaeological, from the Palaeolithic till the Middle Ages. It is oriented, mostly, to the preservation and divulgation of the roman city (Bracara Augusta) remains.

The church is located on a plain area, next to the cemetery, in a relatively isolated place, with the large churchyard standing out. It is a regular longitudinal composite plan, in the Baroque style, dating from the 18th century (more precisely from 1742), still used today in Catholic worship.

Temple from the 16th century, rebuilt on the remains of another, possibly from the 14th century. The interior features a ribbed, painted vault, with a Cross of Christ in the center. In place of this Hermitage, there are also two other churches that usually host popular pilgrimages around Easter Monday.

The present temple is the result of the 17th and 18th centuries reconstructions. The main façade is preceded by a porch with three arches. On the interior, in Lation cross little pronounced it stands out the rococo golden carving from the altars and the seating from the 17th century with painted rib stalls.

Reconstructed by the end of the 18th century or beginning of the 19th, it still preserves some remains from the fifteen hundreds construction in the pyramid that crowns the bell ringer tower. On the interior it stands out the barrel vault and the main chapel with glazed tiles covers from the 17th century.

This temple has small dimensions and its origins are from the X century. It used to belong to Mumadona Monastery and, later on, it belonged to Guimarães College. From the original traces it is still preserved the baptismal font, a holly water font and probably the main chapel with Romanic elements.

The Serra de Montejunto is fifteen kilometers long and reaches 666 meters at its highest point, from where you can enjoy a vast panorama. The dominant vegetation is holm oak and kermes oak. There is a great abundance of water, coming from the springs that surround it.
