During the daytime the tourist train travels through several of the town’s streets. The train makes six stops: the casino, Pescadores beach, Avenida do Rio, the camping site, D. João II street and Hotel Náutico. The journey can be made between 10am and 00:35am and costs 2.50€.

The plan is tempting: enjoying the city, through the river! An unusual sight, on a two hours journey on board of a special boat from Transtejo, with the presence of a translator guide. The ship sails fluvial station at the Terreiro do Paço and makes a tour with stops at the monumental and historical area of Belém and at the Parque das Nações.

This street, the more medieval, was one of the first to be opened in Guimaraes, to make the connection between the convent founded by Mumadona and the Castle. Of great architectural value, scroll through it we can appreciate the convent of Santa Clara, the Arc's House, the Casa dos Peixotos region and the Gothic House of Valadares, among others.

Group of buildings disposed around a public park, making a block in the shape of an irregular triangle. It is one of the best units of ground arquitecture in the Algarve. Let us highlight the forecourt, composed of eight calcareous rock columns of toscane order which support six fallen arches structured into three vaults.

A reservoir created by the Maranhão Dam and fed by the Seda, Avis, and Raia streams. Its characteristics and size make it very attractive for water sports enthusiasts such as rowing, canoeing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, fishing, sailing, and water-skiing. The Maranhão Reservoir also boasts a river beach, camping, a picnic area, and a restaurant.

Less than 50 metres from the sea, lies this beautiful rustic House with friendly service and informal atmosphere. Here you can sample good typical Portuguese dishes. On the first floor there is a small room with a capacity for 12 people, where you can make your private dinner.
