The Nossa Senhora da Apresentação church is from 1606, being placed, at this time, the baptistery. In the end of the XVII century, beginning of the XVIII century, the façade is decorated with two azulejos panels and the inside is all dressed with golden woodcarving, standing out a gothic virgin, in alabaster. It suffered repair works already in the XX century.

The Praça do Comércio owes its name to the intense commercial activity that it used to have, before the opening of the D. Pedro V Market. At the square ends are the São Tiago Church, Romanic style, and the São Bartolomeu, from the baroque period. Also worthy of notice are the pillory and the XVII and XVIII centuries buildings around.

This building was constructed by the end on the 18th century with an extensive and simple façade. On the inside it is possible to see valuable trough roofs with ornaments paintings, Pombaline rococo glazed tiles representing themes from rural life. The Archaeological Museum was created in 1920 and exhibits granite artifacts ranging from Prehistory to the end of the Modern Era, including a menhir from Feitos/Palme, medieval sarcophagi, heraldic symbols, and Romanesque architectural elements from dismantled churches or monasteries, most notably the Cruzeiro do Senhor do Galo, the landmark of Barcelos.
