Projeto arquitetónico da autoria de Álvaro Siza Vieira, situado no espaço da Quinta da Fidalga. A exposição "A essência da Forma" evidencia os inúmeros projetos de revestimento cerâmico, realizados por Manuel Cargaleiro ao longo da sua vida artística. Tem por objetivo promover a obra de Manuel Cargaleiro e da arte contemporânea em geral, através da realização de exposições temporárias e do desenvolvimento de atividades educativas.

Criada sob a designação de Tipografia Popular A. Palaio, Lda., instalou-se no Seixal em 1955 e aí funcionou durante cinco décadas. A antiga oficina tipográfica foi requalificada para funcionar como núcleo museológico onde os visitantes são convidados a vivenciar as antigas técnicas e saberes de uma oficina tradicional de artes gráficas, com a utilização de instrumentos de trabalho e máquinas atualmente excluídas da atividade.

Foi a maior empresa do setor corticeiro em Portugal e, durante algum tempo, do mundo. Reconhecida pela sua política social inovadora, ficou intimamente ligada à vida de muitas gerações de seixalenses, sendo por isso um ponto de passagem obrigatório para quem visita o concelho. Os antigos refeitórios da fábrica foram transformados num moderno restaurante e bar, com vista privilegiada para a Baía do Seixal.

The Foundation has an auditorium, a library mostly for the youngsters and a music school. The Fundação Lord opened on June 18, 1998, with the aim of giving its contribute to education, sports, science, the arts and social support, thus contibuting to the development of the Lordelo parish.

The Casa da Cultura (Culture House) is also named "Palacete da Granja" (Granja Manor) because it was built by a Portuguese that had come back from Brazil in 1822. One can appreciate some south American features such as the yellow tiles in the façades and the large doors and windows. A special note to the huge garden that surrounds the building. The House is used for cultural and recreational purposes and it has eexcellent exhibitions rooms and an auditorium with 187 seats. It has also an open air amphitheatre, located in its magnificent garden.

This environmental education centre, located in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, provides all the information about this park, in addition to release additional environmental oriented entities. Here we can visit exhibitions, attend workshops and show movies.

In an old reclassified agricultural property, visitors are invited to discover the rural world and to adopt sustainable lifestyle habits and to protect the environment, through a set of educational and leisure activities. It has themed gardens, a picnic area, biological vegetable gardens, bicycles, a treetop adventure park, a children's climbing wall and a Canine Training Centre.

It brings together a collection of around two thousand drawings by the painter Júlio Resende. This space develops a vast educational service and promotes the most diverse cultural events, with emphasis on temporary exhibitions, concerts, conferences and workshops.

Installed in the Macau Pavilion, in Parque Adão Barata, this gallery was built with the aim of bringing the population closer to the arts, therefore offering permanent exhibitions of artists recognized in the national and international scene.
