Working composed by the church body, single nave, transept and main chapel, vestry, annex and conventual rooms. At the main chapel stands out the rococo carved retable, semicircular vault with perspective painted wood ceiling, representing Nossa Senhora do Carmo and a set of four paintings from José Rasquinho, representing the life of Santo Elias. At the Convent stands out the main façade, with three bodies, three panes delimited by pilasters, angles and ashlar mansonry cyma, with three interspaces for each floor.

The church, a fifteen hundreds foundation was remodelled on the 17th century. It presents a “pattern” glazed tiles panel, the pulpit and the barrel ceiling with empty coffers. From the medieval period stands out the ogival arches from the transept chapels recovered with glazed tiles from the 17th century and two Gothic tombstones. It also stands out two holly water fonts, both of them from the fifteen hundreds. From the Gospel side there is one chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Rosário with golden carving altarpieces.

Manueline chapel dated from the XVI century, of which remains the ogival arch of the transept. On the main facade of this church, stands a Manueline portal of Arch of carena. The interior is of a ship, 1468-lined and covered with roof of mixer painted. The chancel is of the late 18th century, and here, a large canvas of Pedro Alexandrino, "Supper", in 1802.
