Located in the municipality of Nelas, between the municipal road connecting Vilar Seco and the EN 234 intersection, Nelas/Mangualde, this park covers a total area of ​​over 350,000 square meters. This centuries-old farm, nestled in the Dão River plateau, encompasses several functions, serving as a teaching farm, municipal garden, and conference center. Nature lovers can also explore the trails, whether on foot, on horseback, or by mountain bike. It also includes a fitness circuit for outdoor sports, with a leisure garden and picnic area.

The theme park includes a house from the beginning of the 18th century, an old farm, populated with more than a hundred birds, ponies and dwarf goats, the recreation of an arbutus distillery and a charcoal factory. It is also possible to visit a deactivated ore extraction mine. In the house you can visit the office, the clock room, with dozens of clocks on the walls, the double bedroom with period furniture, the sewing room, among other rooms. In the bathroom, the bathtub stands out, imported from England in the 18th century. Rural style is evident all around.

The current Palace, with an exotic Oriental plan, was built from an 18th century building that imitated a medieval castle. A possession of the Mello e Castro family, it was rented to Gerard DeVisme at the end of the 18th century, who bulit a neogothic manor. In 1856 it was acquired by Francis Cook, who built a new Oriental palace, with revivalist motifs, a true testimony to the romantic architecture. He also ordered the plantation of the Moserrate Park, that combines exotic and local plants, currently an important botanical museum. Nowadays, one may only visit the gardens.

An exceptional romatic architecture monument with a lush park that has about 200 há, currently a heritage of great international interest. Built where there used to be a 16th century convent, almost the entire manor stands on huge rocks and mixes several different styles (neo-gothic, neo-manuelin, neo-moorish, neo-renaissance, etc.). It has an adaptation of the window of the Convent of Christ in Tomar, as well as the remarkeble figure of the Triton. Inside, a special note to the magnificent stuccos, trompe l'oeil mural paintings and several 19th century tiles.

Camping Toca da Raposa is characterized by being an economic and ecological space, located in a picturesque village Meruge in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital. This quiet place is surrounded of Oaks, pines, mimosas, olive trees and several fruit trees, where you can rest in its fullness with the nature. Offers a family atmosphere, where you can meet the real rural life. The main points of interest surrounding the Park are the Roman ruins of Bobadela, the dolmen of Arcaínhos and the schist villages of the valleys of the Alva and Alvoco.

This area benefits from a privileged location, situated in the seaside resort and only 20 kilometres from Lisbon. Offers a wide range of accommodation, having permanent installations because of its proximity to Lisbon, which makes it the ideal destination to relax during the weekends. Features a large leisure area, recreation rooms, terraces, minimarket and snack bar restaurant. The beaches of the Costa de Caparica are one step away from the Park and alternatively can always make a trip to the National Shrine of Christ the King.

Ponta de São Lourenço is a peninsula classified as a Partial Natural Reserve, and the islet of Desembarcadouro as an Integral Natural Reserve, both integrated into the Madeira Natural Park and on the list of Sites of Community Interest in the Natura 2000 Network. It consists of some volcanic hills of recent origin and steep and very high rocky cliffs that fall steeply into the sea, featuring some caves and pebble coves. Along the coast there are two main islets: Desembarcadouro and Farol. There are some endemic plants and protected animal species such as the sea lion.
