In 1988, the Praia Grande was classified a "Praia Dourada” (meaning golden beach) by the Ministry of the Environment. To highlight the event, a walking trail is proposed to all that visit the beach. 17th century manor house consists of two floors and an irregular L-shaped plant, consisting of a set of articulated volumes, with coverage in roof of four waters, except for the Chapel, which features gable roof and the old kitchen, which features a roof water.
