It is located in the center of Almodôvar, in the building of the former Municipal Cinema Theater. It opened to the public in 2007, showcasing pieces discovered in the Almodôvar archaeological site. It is dedicated to the earliest form of writing in the Iberian Peninsula, which dates back to the Iron Age and has not yet been deciphered.

Fortified village built in the iron age, to which was added a second in the middle ages. Feature a line of walls all around and the buildings are almost entirely in shale. On this site were found several traces, such as pieces of pottery, grinding stones, beads necklace, buckled and coins.

Revival Church of longitudinal plant, consisting of a single nave and a chancel, with coverage on dome lowered on the ship and with coverage in barrel vault in the chancel. It was built in the late 19TH century on the site where is believed to have existed a previous Temple. In the interior, especially the sacristy and two gravestones.

A fortified settlement from the Late Bronze and Iron Ages, upon which a city was built in Roman times. Temples, a commercial area, baths, pavements, and a hippodrome, among other remains, are evident. Of note is the ancient spectacle site, the Roman circus, with a capacity of 25,000 people.

The Serra de Montejunto was classified as a Protected Landscape Area in 1999 and a Natura Network Site in 2000. It is fifteen kilometers long and seven kilometers wide, along which you can enjoy landscapes of great natural beauty, as well as diverse species of fauna and flora.

Cave that served as the community's residence and burial site, with traces of occupation since the Middle Paleolithic. It features cave paintings and engravings from the Upper Paleolithic and late Neolithic. It has a gallery/room type configuration, consisting of 30 galleries with rooms, corridors, ramps and chambers.

This site separates the parishes of Vilar (Moimenta da Beira) and Fonte Arcada (Sernancelhe), and allows fishing, particularly trout. The dam was created to normalize the flows of the Douro, and was recently used to capture water for public supply. It's also a great place to take a swim or have a picnic.

Tasquinha typical and ancient where it serves fresh fish of the day, mostly grilled or fried. The unusual name Jump-2nd-wall comes from the time when that same site-which also has groceries and tavern-if jump the wall to reach the Fishing Dock.

The site consists of a large granite outcrop whose upper part is covered with rock carvings, specifically simple and complex geometric figures such as concentric circles, lines, "reticulations," and pecking. A semi-excavated, oval-shaped pit is also noteworthy at the eastern end of the carved block.

Housing set associated with the Moorish period, which preserves a good urban unit. It is made up of four large streets and a square with archaeological remains, where the Arab Museum is located. Constructions in mud, with reed roofs and Moorish tiles, whitewashed with white lime, highlighting the cylindrical chimneys with a conical dome.
