Being the only thermal resort in the Algarve, Caldas de Monchique is located at an altitude of 350 meters and 20 kilometers from the Algarve coast, in the middle of the Serra de Monchique. Consisting of two metal decks, which were intended to make the road connection between Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, this bridge measures 395 meters in length and 8 meters in width, comprising 5.5 meters of carriageway and 1.25 meters meters of walkways. On one of the banks of the Vouga River, next to the new thermal baths of São Pedro do Sul, lies one of the oldest Roman thermal baths, making it one of the most important archaeological monuments from this period. It is a Roman thermal area composed of a tepidarium, a caldarium, a sudatorium, and a laconicum (dry greenhouse), comprising a set of five pools. It is also known as the Dom Afonso Henriques Pool.

Surrounded by the Pinhal de Quiaios and green fields, Lagoa da Vela has an elongated shape and runs parallel to the sea, about five kilometers away. It is the largest lagoon in Bom Sucesso, two kilometers long and 300 meters wide. Its depth, about five meters, makes it little vegetated. It has an abundant aquatic fauna and is connected to the Foja river through a stream.

Located near the village of Marmeleiro, this beach has several unique features that make it special. This space was born from the old house Paixanito, keeping the famous chef de cuisine and the extensive and delicious menu with more than forty snacks based on regional flavors with touches of modernity. Modern and minimalist decor of the restaurant Paixa, along with large Windows letting in plenty of light, make this a very cosy place. At lunch there are special and light cues. Accessible by car almost to its end, Fajã de São João, the largest fajã on the southern coast of the municipality of Calheta, is a must-see for anyone seeking tranquility in landscapes of rare beauty.
