The European Centre for documentation and interpretation of Castro Sculpture, constitutes itself as a nucleus of knowledge and citizens ' framework with the archaeological heritage, fostering feelings of identification and belonging, capitalizing on the other hand, a set of existing resources in the municipality and contributing to sustainable development.

O Centro de Artes Nadir Afonso visa o desenvolvimento de iniciativas conjuntas com vista à sensibilização para a cultura e para a educação artística, dirigidas aos vários segmentos da população, com uma forte incidência sobre a comunidade escolar. Expõe variadas obras do artista em exposição permanente, albergando ainda exposições de pintura ou de outras obras de arte com relevo nacional, uma biblioteca relacionada com temáticas ligadas à pintura e uma escola de pintura.

Cultural Center installed in an annex of the Vila Flor Palace, with four meeting rooms with 55 seats each, an exhibition area with 1000 m2, two theater auditoriums with capacity for 1000 people, a restaurant, a café-concert and a car park with 250 seats.

Inaugurado em 2021, este auditório permite desenvolver atividades de caráter cultural de apoio às diversas coletividades existentes em Canelas. Conta com uma sala comunitária apta à realização de exposições, conferências e diferentes eventos culturais e sociais, apoiados por bastidores técnicos.

Este espaço pretende contar a história de uma comunidade que em muito contribuiu para o desenvolvimento da cidade no período quinhentista, as suas memórias e o legado que deixou.
