The Boa Nova Lighthouse began to function in 1926 and until 1962 it housed the School of Lighthouse keepers. It is the second largest lighthouse in the country, with a tower 46 meters high. Between 2003 and 2004, the Lighthouses Directorate carried out improvement works, such as the construction of a museum center and the conversion of accommodation.

Pombaline Church where stands out abroad, the design of the façade, designed to have two towers, of which only one remains. Inside are evidence of the high altar, some images (Santa Inês, São Paulo, Santa Lucia and the Virgin) and an organ, possibly from the 18th century.

This church was reformed on the 12th century maintain the main chapel, the sacristy and flying buttress from the 16th century. On the inside stands out the two lateral altars in polychrome carving from the end of the 18th century and the tunnel vault apse in masonry covered with blue and white glazed tiles.

This tiles panel pictures typical region's clothes, characters and scenes of the traditional daily life, as well as 5 representations of a castle's tower. The inferior part of the panel has a frieze that pictures two feathers repeatedly. Several figures surrounded by frames decorated with flower motives stand out.

Located at an altitude of 488 meters, it has been a place of worship since ancient times. The Chapel of Our Lady of Penha was built out of popular devotion, after an apparition of Our Lady to a shepherdess. Also, noteworthy are the hermitage of Saint Saturnino and the romantic-revivalist mansion from 1918.

This manor house is composed by two volumes constructed in different times and it also has a chapel constructed in honour of São Domingos. One of the bodies shows an erudite construction with Renaissance lines. It should be pointed out the stonework and its decoration and also the chapel façade from the seventeen hundreds.

Ten metres high waterfall. There is a thermal spa with a beautiful neo-arab design located near Caldas de Monchique. Around it there is a woodland area with plenty of trees of which pine trees, acacias, eucalyptuses, arbutus-trees, plane trees, cypresses and various fountains stand out.

The Blue Lagoon Restaurant, in Vila Nova de Gaia, have snacks all day long, whether for eating at home whether for take out. The restaurant's specialties, cod lures petingas fries, breaded hake fillets, patties, among others, made in a simple and welcoming environment.

It has a peculiar location, as it is surrounded by two houses on a street close to the main church and the city center. Built in the 16th century, this chapel, of Manueline religious architecture, is attached to a manor house with internal communication through the upper choir. Its most notable features are the quartered coat of arms, the 16th-century portal, the triumphal arch, and the coffered vault. In 1808, it is believed to have sheltered Junot's troops during the French Invasions.

This private chapel is integrated into a rural solar Mannerist root with Baroque additions. Its architectural lines are simple, has a curvilinear gable portal flanked by pinnacles fins esferoides, topped by floral bowls and illuminated by oculus quadrilobado. The high altar has a Rococo altarpiece carved marbled blue and gold, with pilasters with vegetal elements, panels and finials, volutes of intaglio and a headset styled curtain Faker who falls into an ordeal.
