This huge bronze statue, by Germano José Sales, represents the king Pedro IV with a laurel wreath, holding the constitution that replaced the former one in 1822. At the basis are visible four women statues, symbolizing the virtues of a good government: justice, prudence, strength and moderation.

Monument dating from the 17th century and consists of five bastions: Santa Catarina, São Pedro, good news, Espírito Santo and Santa Luzia. In 1959, the Fort suffered conservation works, in 1997 the Church was fully recovered and in 2000\/2001 was rebuilt the wall.

Spacious and modern, located in the Transparent Building, in front of praia do Castelo do Queijo and next to the City Park. Its large glass walls offer you fantastic panoramic views. Offers good traditional dishes, steaks and salads francesinhas still.

Ancient cellar, currently with two quite well illuminated rooms, iy offers quite a pleasant atmosphere, warmed up by a fireplace, with background music. Good service and excellent traditional dishes. It has only wines of the Dão region and products of the Beira region.

This restaurant/bar runs in a place dated from the XVIII century. On the first floor runs the bar, in a place that brings the memory the ancient traditional commerce houses; on the other floor is the restaurant with original dishes. Good service and sophisticated ambience. Great wine list.
