Only the lower part of the furnace of two pear-shaped kilns can be observed, with a small access corridor and three arches supporting the grate (which has since been demolished). Waste materials from the manufacturing process were found in two pits located south of the kilns.

The Hotel B&B of Evora, located within the city walls is more a fusion between tradition and contemporary design heritage. This is the most important testimony to the Roman presence in the Portalegre District. The remains found here belong to the Roman city of Ammaia. Also, noteworthy are the structure of the Forum and Temple, and the Quinta do Deão Building, where a pavement, a water pipe, and inscribed stones were found.
