The Mall opened in 2007, with 133 shops spread out over two floors, with views to the exterior. Features restaurants, a hypermarket and outdoor terrace. The theme of the architecture of this shopping and leisure centre is based in the traditions of São João da Madeira, being the visitors surprised at every step of the halls with mechanisms, showcases and medallions that tell the story of the shoe and hat.

This restaurant's rustic atmosphere is noticeable in the tables with sarplier towels, brown paper hand towels and cloth napkins. Open since the spring 2006, it specializes in its several cod dishes (with "broa" - a sort of rough bread -, "à lagareiro" and "à Zé do Pipo"), the kid, the roasted veal and the "posta à mirandesa" (a thick, tender steak).

Open space in September 2011, owned by renowned chef José Avillez. In a relaxed and informal environment, decorated with vintage furniture, tiles and an installation of Lamego Widow authored by artist Joana Astolfi, the letter offers a variety of snacks, nails, plates and desserts that reveal influences of some Cook's voyages. A restaurant/shellfish house that offrs typical Portuguese dishes, with a dining room on the first floor. Simple decor and panoramic sea views. Kind and effective service. The terrace is open only during the summer.

Located next to the Gerês Thermal Baths building, this is a great place to relax. A very beautiful park with areas of spontaneous vegetation and landscaped gardens. It has a lake with ducks where you can go boating. It also features swimming pools, a fitness trail, a bar, and a playground. It is only open during the summer season, and an entrance fee is required.

A 16th-century church with a single nave, pilasters at the corners, a main façade finished with a gable and cornice, with openings forming a central axis consisting of the Mannerist portal surmounted by a niche with an image of Our Lady of Mercy. The interior is completely stripped of its former structure and decoration, preserving only the chancel arch, a perfect arch on pilasters, with traces of paint.
