The downtown is the result of an urban innovative project, imbued on a clear concern for modernity. With a rigours geometrical sketch, it has its main references on the Tejo River and the D. The village of Alvito da Beira is believed to be of Moorish origin. According to historians, it was the Arabs who introduced the first olive groves to the region. These reached such a size that by the early 20th century, there were 10 olive presses in the parish. Small walls were built to protect the olive trees, of which traces still remain. In terms of architectural heritage, the main church, cross, old fountain, Mó fountain, Dáspera fountain, and Sobrainho fountain stand out. Crafts include weaving, tinsmithing, hand-made shoemaking, and blacksmithing.

A village located in a cove of the Castelo de Bode reservoir. It is one of the most typical and picturesque villages in central Portugal. Dominating the low white houses is the medieval tower, said to have been built by the Knights Templar on a Roman watchtower to oversee the deep Zêzere Valley, which formed the border between Moorish and Christian territory. Of note among its cultural heritage are the main church, dating from the 13th century and rebuilt in 1453, with the image of Our Lady of Weeping, and the chapel of Santo Antão, with 17th-century statues.

Inaugurated in 2003, Quinta de Valverde, Viana do Castelo, owns a privileged location, in the middle of the Hill of Santa Luzia, overlooking the old city, to the Lima River and the sea. In the Azores archipelago, more properly in a paradisiacal zone of Terceira Island, the Quinta do Rossio is located within the limits of the parishes of Altars and biscuits. The main house of the Farm was rebuilt maintaining its secular moth, being composed of four double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen, and the whole House is equipped with central heating and a fireplace in the living room. The original furniture, most of the Dashwood family, was recovered in order to offer guests a rustic atmosphere and quiet in contrast to the hectic everyday life.

The chapel of Veral, dedicated to s. Martinho, rectangular plant East\/West oriented, are deployed within a walled courtyard. The granite walls are partially covered with plaster and painted white. The main façade has a rectangular portal, flanked by two horizontal slots, surmounted by inscriptions alluding to rebuilding this area in the 19th century. Inside this Chapel, divided by an arch, stands the high altar and two side altars in polychrome and gilded carvings, religious imaginary housing. This is the chapel which is celebrated the mass of the feast in honour of s. Martinho.

Founded in 1929 by Rafael Salinas Calado, it started out as an annex to the Church of São Pedro. After being transferred to the building of the former headquarters of the Irmandade da Santa Casa da Misericórdia, he would still move again. It is currently installed in the building of the former Convent of Graça, of the Order of Augustine Shoes. This is a Mannerist convent with a church in the shape of a Latin cross, a single nave, and a two-story cloister. Due to its characteristics, it fits into the typology of the monumental 17th-century churches of classicist and erudite style in the Porto region. The tilework in the chancel and transept is also from the 17th century, and the main altarpiece is Baroque, in the National Style, with Baroque side altarpieces from the time of King Pedro II, at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. This 17th century construction is sided by two towers with pyramidal domes draped in glazed tiles. It has one only nave with vaults decorated with wall paintings dated from the 18th century. It possesses six lateral chapels opening to the nave by perfectly vaulted arches, linked each other in the corbels level. Below the main chapel there is São João de Deus chapel where, according to the tradition it is located the house from street Rua Verde where in 1495 João Cidade (São João de Deus) was born.
