This is the main bathing center in Lagoa. Today it continues to be a fishermen's beach, access to which has been redeveloped. Thus, walking along the streets and alleys with restricted car access, heading towards the sea, the beach appears, close to the commercial area. The beach is not extensive, it is narrow and relatively small and has a concession area. To get to know this part of the coast better, we suggest renting a boat that will take bathers to see the caves.

The Tasca da Alice, Mondim de Basto, has the client cod pataniscas, salad, sausage, chouriça moura and sausage and specialty: cod omelette. Lunches and dinners in Tasca da Alice only per order but the snacks are served at any time of the day and all paid only in cash.

17th century manor house located within an extensive agricultural property, with ten cosy and refined rooms. The facades are worthy of appreciation. Stand out, yet, the halls with beautiful ceilings, already sorted, artisan in talha and exposure of regional facts.

Inserted in the House that once belonged to Visconde de Ervedosa, son of Lieutenant-General Sepúlveda, this space works also as the seat of the Municipality and as a cultural center. He currently works as an auditorium.

An area with several points of interest, among which stand out the Boca do Inferno (Hell's Mouth), a grotto, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Leap, and the remains of a bridge that provided access to the local mines.

This beach is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, opposite the village of Santa Luzia, the name by which it is also known. To get to the other side, access is guaranteed by a boat that makes these trips periodically, with a cost of €2.10, round trip. In the village of Santa Luzia there are restaurants and bares that serve octopus as a specialty.

It was a chapel and is now a rustic restaurant specialized in homemade food and seafood.

Nuno Gonçalves was Alcaide-mor of the Castle de Faria, in the reign of Ferdinand I of Portugal. At this point the troops of Castile invaded our country. Taken prisoner by the Castilians, was taken to the walls of Castelo de Faria, in an attempt to convince his son, Gonçalo Nunes, then Chief of the garrison, to surrender. However, Nuno Gonçalves took the opportunity to urge his son to the resistance, and was promptly shot down. This episode became a legend and narrated by Alexandre Herculano.
