Quinta do Seixo is located on the south bank of the Douro River, in Cima-Corgo, and offers a wonderful view over the river. Since 1987, it has been owned by Sogrape Vinhos, which created a modern winemaking center here, where the famous Port and Douro wines are produced. Here you can learn more about the region and visit the cellar and the robotic presses, learning about the entire wine production cycle, as well as trying a Port Wine tasting.

This includes a theme park at the beginning of the 18th century, an ancient farm, populated with more than a hundred varieties of birds, ponies and goats, dwarf the re-creation of a distillery of medronho and a coal yard, you can also visit a mine off of ore extraction. The open pit contains, according to geologists, especially iron and copper but also barium. In the next Gallery, the water to be removed from the wells that are being excavated and a car full of ore circulates on the tracks aided by a worker.

The romantic taste of the first owner is reflected in the beautiful landscaping that you chose for the construction of this Palace, highlighting the beautiful gardens that surround the space. Presents part of the tiled facades with diverse decoration and floral scenes. Inside, the highlight goes to the decoration, the furniture, the Chapel, the Hall, the visiting rooms and dinner, both tea pavilions and the home of the crib. The gardens in several plans, drawn like late-romantic, feature staircases, lakes and marble statuary and ceramics. Currently, works here a Pousada de Portugal.

Built by Cistercian monks between 1178 and 1254, the Monastery consists of three sections: the Church and the North and South Wings, which respectively housed the apartments of the kings and visiting court, and the residences of the Abbot and the monks. The original façade retains the battlements on the side roof, the Gothic portal, and the large side windows. The Church is the largest in Portugal and contains the tombs of King Pedro I and Inês de Castro. It is in the area of the old Jewish quarter, on the street Rua Fonte da Rosa, and is very popular among Jews, who make their prayers there, and curious people from other religions, who seek to know more about the Jewish community. Inaugurated in 1996, the Synagogue can only be visited by appointment, at the Jewish Museum. It is oriented towards Jerusalem and its name is a tribute to the worthy Jew who financed its construction. The Jewish community also has its own cemetery.

Inserted in the heart of the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve, this space constitutes an extraordinary viewpoint over the Sado Estuary and surrounding areas. It is possible to observe cork oak forests, salt marshes and rice fields where an important community of fauna can be observed, both resident and migratory, and it is also possible to observe fishing activities. Here you can visit an archaeological site from the Roman period that is around 2000 years old, where the area of the probable pottery is defined.

This is a medieval tower with a quadrangular plan, initially part of the estate belonging to the Brandões lineage, which served as a fortified manor house with three floors. It consists only of the ruined structure of the four granite ashlar walls. On the northeast façade, a window extending to its base and corbels where a balcony (a type of wooden structure) would have rested stand out. On the main façade, a round-arched doorway with a lintel stands out. Visits are limited as it is located within the courtyard of a private house.

The public passeio (sidewalk) of Caminha is the perfect place for a relaxing stroll. Located between the automotive bridge (EN 13) and the railroad bridge, this walk offers excellent views of the Coura river. The tallest trees offer plenty of shade for a family picnic.

The start and ending of this trail are at the Chapel of Saint Maria do Monte. It is a small trail, 13.3 km long, that lasts about three hours. It crosses the Freita mountain, accompanies the valley and the Urtigosa river, the village of Ameixieira and other places too.

This is a pleasant square, located in the centre of Setúbal, which owes its name to the local poet that you can see represented on a statue. Place of social intercourse for the people of the city, the shadows and the benches invite you to rest for a while and nice chat.
