The sanctuary, located at an altitude of 780 meters, is built beside a rugged hill. This site is the stage for one of the most popular national pilgrimages, on September 7th, when the surrounding landscape takes on even more beautiful proportions.

This site is the result of a speleological phenomenon which involves the collapse of the central part of the hill, leaving only the extreme sides visible. These sides contain holes that are nothing more than the remains of the cave that once existed on this hill.

The Cidade do Porto Shopping Center, also known as Bom Sucesso, has 4 floors and a 14271 m2 commercial area. Sited at a central city area, it owns 136 shops, restaurants, cinemas and a supermarket.

An easy pedestrian trail that is 11 km long and lasts about four and a half hours. One gets acuqianted with some of the council's marvels, namely the City Fortress and the village of Cossourado. The trail is thus named because it passes by several landmarks that used to indicate the roman miles of the military route.

From this location you will get panoramic views over the Tagus River and the entire city of Abrantes. The views can extend up to 80 kilometers and cover a large part of the municipality, from the pine forests in the north in the Castelo de Bode reservoir area to the Alentejo landscape in the south of the municipality.

This beach is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, opposite the village of Santa Luzia, the name by which it is also known. To get to the other side, access is guaranteed by a boat that makes these trips periodically, with a cost of €2.10, round trip. In the village of Santa Luzia there are restaurants and bares that serve octopus as a specialty.

This is the most spectacular accident in the coastal geological formation. It was once a cave carved into the rock by rainwater and the force of the waves, whose roof eventually collapsed. It is a place of great visual and auditory impact, well worth a visit.

Walking tour with 9 Km, starting at the Capela de São Romão. As you walk you can visit the mill’s track, the Alto da Arroteia belvedere and the narrow ways through the old houses.

A pedestrian walk that includes a visit to the Oficina do Ouro (Gold Workshop), a traditional family business whose origins date back three generations, devoted to working silver and gold, namely the art of filigrans.

The municipality of Lourinhã has many windmills that, even if not used for agricultural purposes, are worth a visit. In Moita de Ferreiros, five restored windmills have been converted into cafés and bars, adding to the landscape's beauty.
