The National Railway Museum comprises several museum centers located throughout the country, with the Central Museum located in the city of Entroncamento. Currently, the Entroncamento Museum Set expanded and renovated its facilities. Within this space, the former Locomotive Roundabout is open to visitors, housing a permanent exhibition featuring some of the most important examples of this type of railway vehicle, powered by steam, diesel, or electric power.

Housed in the city's former Bishop's Palace, this museum was established in 1917. The most notable feature of the museum's collection is its eclecticism. The collection is primarily from the 18th century, spanning the period from the 1st century to the present day, with a clear emphasis on the Renaissance period. Highlights include the Flemish tapestries and paintings by Vasco Fernandes. The Gothic transept located here is classified as a Property of Public Interest.

It has an L architectural structure with two floors and a stone staircase leading to the noble floor. On the west side one may view the chapel and the gardens. The chapel and the entire surrounding set, the gardens included, ar classed as a Public Interest Construction.

In the heart of the historic area, stands the imposing Torre do Relógio, unavoidable in the landscape of Castelo Branco, as it is visible from the most diverse locations. Its creation is related to the expansion process of the city and the enlargement of the limits of the walls, since it was created where there was an old tower of the outer wall, adapted for its current functions in the 19th century.
