Also known as the Torre da Cidade (city tower), it is a three floors, quadrangular building. It has named after the Porto’s bishop that, in 1147, at the terreiro da Sé, encouraged the crusaders to help D. Afonso Henriques at the Lisbon conquest.

This yard has about sixteen thousand square meters and is rich in architecture. It contains, among other monuments of interest, the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança, the equestrian statue of D. João IV, Porta dos Nós and Porta da Vila.

The Children’s Park Alvito with about 12 ha is one of the most well equipped playgrounds of Lisbon, offering didactic spaces for children. It has pools and the Centro Cultural Infantil Adolfo Simões Muller with ceramics, painting and drawing ateliers and also a library. Access to the beach is by boat for 1.50 euros (round trip). Located in front of Cabanas, a tuna fishing village that has not yet lost its identity, you can see the anchored boats that keep the traps for octopus fishing and the nets for artisanal fishing.

The portal of the convent with monumental porch and portal padded Church flanked by two fluted columns, upon which runs an architrave. The interior of the Church is rich in tiles, paintings and carvings. Highlights also the coat of arms of infanta d. Maria on the cornice.

Ancient palatial house located near the Church of Fajã Grande, offering five bedrooms in the main house and two independent rooms in the House Via d ´ water. With rustic decor and family atmosphere and cosy, offer a calm and relaxing stay.

This is a granite pillory built after the Foral concession to the town in 1515, by D. Manuel I. In 1985 after a period of almost two hundred years in which it was in a place called Valeta, it was transferred to the present location but lost its subjection irons.

Sisnando provides an experience with unique delicacies of the regional gastronomy, where the recipes are sprinkled of tradition and creativity. The wine suggestion goes to the "Wine lands of Sicó". It features a terrace and a view of the houses of Penela.
