Located on Monte de Santa Luzia, once a stage for mineral exploration, the Quartzo Museum aims to be an interactive space for exploring the geological and natural heritage of the region, being the only museum in the world to dedicate itself exclusively to a mineral. With a strong pedagogical aspect, it allows visitors of different age groups to carry out experiences related to geology and mineralogy.

The best of the Serra da Estrela is able to sleep in a place where you don't feel the cold. Stay at Casa das Obras, butters, that's right. An old House and filled with stories of where only comes out when the fog to pass. It is an 18th century manor house with five bedrooms and a well-appointed suite and several leisure areas.

Statue in bronze on a stone column about 2 feet tall. Isolated Church, of medieval Foundation in granite, consisting of chancel, nave, sacristy and Baptistry. Inside stands out: the foursquare pulpit, flanked by late-Baroque side altarpieces, reredos and chancel of gilt and polychrome national style. The belfry is isolated and has 2 records, being the top with Bell duo. It was rebuilt in the 17th century and kept the structural elements.

This beautiful house is placed on a street known for its characteristic architectonic harmony. Here are represented the XVII, XVIII and XIX centuries, with a nice show of the Porto’s architectonic atmosphere. On this building, the façade covered with azulejos panels from the second half of the XVII century stands out. This azulejos (tiles), made in Lisbon, describe episodes of the Holy Mary’s life.

Manueline gateway with straight lintel, garnished by canopied arch framed by perfect curve arches. Coming from a house in the historic centre of Beja, it documents the popularization of the ornamental manueline lexicon at Baixo Alentejo during the beginning of the XVI century. It stands out for its richness in decoration, showing an exuberant taste that made the school of the manueline architecture in Beja.

Baroque building with two floors and rectangular plan constructed on the XVIII century, most likely. In the beginning of the XIX century, King Don Miguel used to stay here during the huntings. Afterwards, during the XX century the building was transformed into flats and rooms for rent. On the inside we can stand out the baroque tiles from the Pombaline period.

First floor palatial house with entrance patio, access staircase to the two noble halls (built to receive King D. João VI). In the beautiful garden, the avenue and the tiled benches stand out. It currently has a Traditional Arts Center that promotes various cultural initiatives, namely exhibitions, concerts, recitals and initiatives for the little ones.

The Bairro do Avillez is a space composed of several restoration concepts: in the Mercearia there are cheeses and sausages, wines and books; in the Taberna appetizers for those who like to eat well; in Páteo, fish and seafood stand out; The Beco invites to a dinner-show and Cantina Peruana proposes Peruvian flavors preceded by delicious cocktails at the Pisco Bar Lisboa.
