This is the highest point in the Algarve, at 902 meters. The extent of the landscape depends on the greater or lesser cloudiness, but on clear days the view extends, on the one hand, to Cabo de São Vicente and further north to Serra da Arrábida, and on the other, to Faro.

This park, located between Serra da Mira and A-da-Beja, in Mina de Água, covers 4.5 hectares. It has trails for walking or mountain biking, garden benches along the entire terrain and a flatter area for picnics, served by piped water tanks. It also has a children's playground. It is possible to practice outdoor sports and recreational activities.

The Alva is a tributary of the Mondego river. It has its spring on the southwest of the Estrela mountain and flows to the Mondego river, by Porto de Raiva.

This is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in the municipality of Paços de Ferreira. When the weather permits and the sky is blue, it's possible to observe magnificent landscapes of the Minho region and the Serra da Cabreira mountain range. It's a privileged location with its small but beautiful valleys.

Cabeço de Neve is a set of large rocks on the hillsid of the Caramulo mountain. It has panoramic views of the surrounding farmlands and even the Estrela Mountain.

The Zêzere river is a tributary of the Tagus river that starts on the Estrela Mountain and measures about 200 km. It is the second larges river that flows entirely in Portugal.
