A temple built by the citizens of Palhais at the end of the 15th century. It has a rectangular plan and two funerary chapels of the 1500s. The main part of the building is covered by 16th century tiles. Only the manuelin portico is classed.

The main building of the ancient Santo Antão-o-Novo College is classified as Public Interest Building. The sacristy belonged to the church of the former Jesuítas College, by the architect Baltasar Álvares. The marble revetment are worthy of notice.

This is a Romanic church with one only nave, main chapel and bell ringer tower. From the original temple it only maintains the corbels remains on the top. It underwent several improvements, displaying, mostly, neoclassic features.

Rococo and neoclassical Church, longitudinal plant consisting of a nave, a chancel, two bodies adossados the chancel and Bell Tower located near to the main facade. Was built probably in the 18th century and underwent renovations in 1951.

A church built in 1570. Its façade faces the main square and its architectural elements. Inside, one can find the tomb of Fructuoso Pires, supposed to have been the man who invested in this construction.

Mannerist Church consists of a nave, with main façade in gable truncated by a Bell Tower flanked by pinnacles. Still on the facade, there is a Mannerist portal, framed by columns supporting an architrave decorated, and two Baroque clipping Windows.

Temple with a 17th-century façade topped by a niche with a stone sculpture of the virgin. It has a nave and chancel. The main altar features an altarpiece in Mannerist carvings. The porch beside the church gives access to the body of services.

Building constructed in 1912 by Manuel Maria Serra, with the ground floor destined to Commerce and the upper floor intended for housing. Is found in one of the main streets in the municipality, stressing out from among the other buildings.

Medieval graves located next to the Main Church of Castelo de Penalva. These open graves are protected by a fence made up of a chain. Stones belonging to the original church can be found around the archaeological site.

This mountain is widely varied bith in flora and in fauna. The boar, the deer and the wolf stand out. As for the vegetation, a special note to the pyrenean oak, that covers an area of 6500 hectares. It is the largest pyrenean oak wood in the entire world. A the top of the mountain, you may also visit the sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Serra (Our Lady of the Mountain), a tribute to Saint Teresinha.
