It includes works of painting, goldsmithing, sculpture, vestments, and metalwork. This church was constructed in 1707 by the Archbishop of Braga by orders of King D. João V. It used to belong to the Benedictines convent and after the religious orders extinction it was given in 1846 to the Rosary Sorority. In this seventeen hundreds church it is worthy t mention the many objects filling the inside: the ceiling has 40 panels painted with biblical scenes, the altars are in golden carve, the canopy pulpit, the valuable statuary and three big sixteen hundreds canvas.

The palace was built in the mid-16th century on the initiative of a local family called Furtado Mendonça, whose coat of arms can still be seen above the main door. The building has a Renaissance profile, evident in the design of the main portico and the fine arcade found in the inner courtyard. At the end of the 19th century, the palace was used as the headquarters of the Beja High School, a situation that lasted for 35 years. Currently, the building houses a student residence.

Inaugurated in 2001, it was the first cathedral to be built in Portugal in the 21st century. Designed by the architect Vassalo Rosa, it occupies an area of 10 thousand square meters and features contemporary architecture, with an amphitheater distribution of seats and a pentagonal design of the surrounding area. Devoted to Nossa Senhora Rainha, the monument intends to reflect the region where it is located, from the construction materials used to the orientation of the doors or the vegetation of the gardens. The tabernacle has the geographical shape of the district.

The rice Museum Restaurant opened its doors in June 1996, on the premises of the former rice hulling factory gate. Been closed some time to restructure the building, having reopened with an excellent terrace area overlooking the rice paddies.
