A Quinta de Santa Maria situa-se em Sintra e tem um vista privilegiada para o Palácio da Pena. Existe desde os anos 20 do séc. XX e os quartos foram todos recuperados e mobilados em diferentes estilos. Esta quinta histórica de Sintra dá a oportunidade de provar os produtos ecológicos que por ali encontra.

Located between Porto and Aveiro, right near the castle of Santa Maria da Feira, is this modern and tranquil space that invites to relaxation. It offers 80 well-equipped rooms, pool and restaurant, among other services.

Of the original 14th-century Canas de Santa Maria temple, only the façade remains. The National Monument classification covers only the façade, which features the portal with an ogival arch and a bell tower with two windows.

A dam, located on the Aguiar brook, a tributary of the Douro river. Near the dam there is an abbey of Santa Maria de Aguiar. The most common fish species are the carp and the trout and fishing is permitted. One may also windsurf, swim and sail.

The Church of Santa Maria de Veade preserves only some portions of the Romanesque era of significant importance, which can be dated to the end of the 12th century or beginning of next. The north side portal, the capitals and some ornate staves that are inside the building.

Located in the city's historic area, it is covered in white and blue tiles intended to depict the life of the Virgin Mary. It is a Neo-Baroque revivalist church with a longitudinal plan, comprising a nave, a narrower and lower chancel, a side chapel, a baptistery, and a bell tower. It was built in 1886 on the site of the former Church of Santa Maria do Castelo. Inside, the Neo-Rococo and Neoclassical gilded altarpieces are particularly noteworthy.

The façade displays some traces from a Romanic doorway which panels are ornate by two pigeons. The inside has one only nave standing out the baptismal font that has it origins on the fifteen hundreds period, the pulpit and the image from Santa Maria.

Santa Maria Church is placed in a square with old buildings from which we stand out the Torrinha house, the former building for the City Hall and another Manueline building with a Coat of Arms on the door. It still preserves the apse structure, the porch, the baroque altars and the “Tree of Life” represented on a lateral chapel. It has undergone some transformations on the 15th, 16th, 17th and 19th centuries and it was restore in 1960.
