In an authentic nature reserve which is the pine forest of Camarido, in a fairly dense forest and quite sought after by tourists and caravanning site, one may find the Cristelo picnic area. Between the Minho estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. River's side Walks and across Moledo do Minho with his well-known beach and respective strong. Further inland, the railroad gives a very special color to the place.

Inserted in the magnificent resort of Vale do Lobo, this space inspired the salt mines of Loulé is surrounded by the ocean and the ria Formosa Natural Reserve. On this site there is no room for stress, but rather for relaxation. Features a sauna, Turkish baths and Hamam and ten fully-equipped rooms for different types of therapies. Abroad, two cabins arranged in an original garden lilies serve as the surroundings more diverse types of treatments and therapies.

This Roman Theatre Museum, opened in 2001, shows what was the theatre of the ancient city of Olisipo. Is housed in a 17th century building, which has been refurbished over the centuries. The Museum encompasses multiple areas where you expose archaeological remains and traces which refer not only to the time of Theatre (1st century), but also for other traces which bear witness to an intense human occupation of this site.

In this Museum are exposed various materials from the municipality of Monforte, mostly Roman, collected during the excavations in the Roman villa of Torre de Palma. All objects found are grouped by categories like "Roman Necropolis", "Roman coins", "Agriculture and construction Material," "costume" and "weaving and kitchen and table". Highlight is some stucco paintings (on the site of the altar mor), and some carved granite columns. Are classified as Property in the public interest.

This small, rectangular fort was built in the 18th close to the location of a previous fort dedicated to St Ignacio. This previous fort, located on a cliff, was destroyed when the cliff fell into the sea during the 1755 earthquake. This lead to the new fort being built further back than the one dedicated to St Ignacio. The presence of a fort at this site was necessary for protecting the tunny traps located througout the coast. The fort is now in ruins.

Its location, in the vicinity of the dam of Castelo do Bode, gives you the possibility to carry out nautical activities such as canoeing. Alternatively, explore and pay a visit to the historic heritage of the city of Tomar, just 10 miles away.

The views it offers over the historic area of Castelo Branco and the region greatly reward the effort required to reach it. It is located close to the Castle and opened in 1941, built to “hide” the water supply tanks and later reclassified during the Polis program. The garden benches and shadows invite you to take a well-deserved rest, while contemplating the panoramic view that goes from Serra da Estrela to the border.

A pedestrian trail that belongs to the Municipal Pedestrian Trails Network Of Paredes de Coura. It is 11 km long with signals. Be amazed at the magnificent views of the Minho and Coura Valleys.
