After serious problems caused by Castilian rule, King Dinis handed Noudar over to the Order of Aviz, forcing them to build a strong castle and granting the town numerous privileges. Thus, the castle was built in 1308 by order of King Frei Afonso, master of the Order of Aviz, and underwent numerous repairs over the centuries. It consists of a hexagonal wall and enclosure, reinforced by regularly spaced cubes, with two gates defended by barbicans and two wicket gates. Recently, several archaeological investigations have been conducted to integrate and recover the origins of this fortification.

The building, designed by renowned architect Siza Vieira, houses Rui Nabeiro's project for the production and sale of regional wines. Adega Mayor offers guided tours, booked in advance, to showcase the entire winemaking process, provide details about the building, and offer wine tastings. At the end, visitors can purchase quality products at the Mayor shop.

Eight themed bus rides along the parish in order to divulge the Lousada region. Every ride is different both in the destination and in its objective.

Old Castle belonging to the order of the Templars, built in the 13th century. This just leaves a section of the castle wall and sidewalk access to the highest point.

This pillory has a flat shaft in marble, with a cubic capital decorated with a Cross from the Military Order of Christ, an armillary sphere and heraldic symbols.

A pillory with polygonal basis and column. The chapiter is square and has a sphre on the top. It was ordered by the Town Council in 1844 and built by José Miguel Rodrigues.
