This Pavilion is manned Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:30 by the schools of the County. After the 17:30 till 11:0 pm is usually occupied by various entities that enjoy the space. However, it is absolutely necessary to make appointment and pay the rental of space. On weekends there are basketball and handball Federated games with teams from the municipality.

Near the historic centre of Tavira, this convent, founded in 1606, works as an inn since the last century. Its architecture is of rare beauty, being that the present rooms were built from the monks’ cells, now quite comfortable and well furnished.

One of the few vestiges of the old medieval walls, with a quadrangular plan and prismatic battlements. It was adapted to a prison in the 16th century (D. Manuel I). It currently houses the Tourist Office and hosts temporary exhibitions.

A village located on the foothills of the Sirigo mountain, that owes its name to the abundant aechaeoligical vestiges of the region, menhirs, dolmens and graves carved on the rocks. Mostly two megalithic monuments are worth a visit, the necropolis of Lareira de Cima and the menhir of the Valley of Maria Pais. The houses feature a regional architecture, with ornamented romanesque windows. A special note to the mother church and to the chapels of Saint Silvestre and of Saint Miguel as well.

This former railway bridge is now restricted to pedestrian traffic. Built of stone, it is composed of large arches.

The Gold Museum is housed in a goldsmith's workshop at Casa de Alfena (now a rural tourism accommodation unit) and is part of a group of workshops dating back to the 18th century. This space aims to showcase the identity of a community linked to gold work since ancient times. The museum is the result of the efforts of a goldsmith from Travassos, Francisco de Carvalho e Sousa, who, over fifty years of activity, collected gold objects, utensils, and furniture, now exhibited here.
