Also known as Fajã do Porto, the site has about 30 old houses and a road accessible by car. It boasts a chapel honoring Our Lady of Sorrows and numerous streams. It is also known for its natural pools for bathing and the caves on its coast, caused by sea erosion.

Ancient monastery of our Lady of the fields of Montemor-o-Velho, belonging to religious of the third order of St. Francis, which was transferred to this site due to flooding of the river.
