This green and flowery garden, with its grassy flowerbeds, is located right in front of the Monastery of São Miguel. It is very popular with people who simply want to stroll around. It has benches where you can sit and read peacefully.

This village, with around 200 inhabitants, is located in the Vila Verde parish, where farming and granite extraction stand out. In fact, most of the houses at Perafita are built in granite. A special note to the mother hurch (known as the Sanctuary of Our Lord of Perafita and dating back to the second half of the 18th century) and to the fountain at the base of the churche's belltower. The gastronomy includes sausages and smoked ham.

Located on the right bank of the Côa river, to the north of the Malcata mountain, it became a part of the Portuguese territory in 1296 as a result of the Treaty of Alcanices. The area insid the walls still has some of the original features and is a valuable cultural heritage. Among the several monuments, the castle and the walls, the mother church, the romanesque-gothic church of misericórdia and the medieval bridge on the Côa river stand out.

16TH century manor modified in the 18th and 19th centuries, belonging to the same family for generations. A Gothic castle, imposing and austere, where the summit towers with spires and four pinnacles stand out as ornamentation. The walls are protected by crenellated embrasures and loopholes. Outside the walls, it is worth visiting the Chapel of Our Lady of the Incarnation and the Chaplaincy House, in 17th-century Baroque style. The population moved to the vicinity of the castle attracted by the trade of goods that took place there, giving rise to the current city.

The Castro da Gestosa is deployed on a spur overlooking the village, near the road ER311. Is one of the most important forts of the County, is classified as a Property in the public interest, which stands out for its complex defensive system: has three lines of walls, still well preserved, braces, double moats and polygonal stones embedded. On the upper deck are traces of circular dwellings.

Majestic granite Chapel, where stands out your frame, topped by a triangular pediment and flanked by pilasters. Inside stands the altar in gilt, with an image of the Patron Saint. Originally, this chapel was located elsewhere, where there was also a hostel where they welcomed the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela. After being destroyed in the early 17th century, were rebuilt at the current location, in 1681.

Modern stadium opened on October, 25th, 2003, built for the practice of football. It has 65 thousand seats. The new “cathedral” of Benfica, stage of the EURO 2004, replaces the mythic Luz stadium and its famous third ring. The stadium was planed by the company Hok Sports and contemplates a relevant leisure area, from which the commercial and health clubs areas stand out.

Dedicated to Saint Salvador, the parish church of Santa Cruz resulted from the recovery of the Capela das Almas, from the 17th century, which had already been based on another construction from the beginning of the 16th century, following the 1748 earthquake. It presents influences from the mendicant Gothic and, inside, the baroque and neoclassical gilded altarpieces and traces of paintings on the pillars stand out.

The church was built in the 16th century and later expanded and restored in the 18th century. This reconstruction was necessary due to the devastation caused by the earthquake known as Mandado de Deus (Mandate of God). The majestic façade features a portal, three large windows, and two oculus windows, not to mention the bell tower, atypical for the island's architecture. Inside, the gilded carvings and numerous paintings stand out.
