Located at the Amoreiras Shopping Center, the Amoreiras 360° Panoramic View is one of the highest spots of the city that allows its visitors to enjoy a unique view over Lisbon. It is a granite building, of rectangular plan, oriented Southeast\/Northwest, with a porch supported by columns. The main façade has a rectangular portal, with frame in relief, flanked by rectangular Windows, also with frame in relief. The lintel of the door contains inscriptions: "MARIA IOSEPH IESVS\/SAVE TIESVM LENEDITVM\/REGINAE ERVCTVM ... NOBIS POIoICEXI IVMOS ENDE ". A castle situated on the right bank of the Tagus River, composed of medieval fortifications and bastions. This castle underwent profound reconstructions and changes throughout the centuries, notably in the 17th and 19th centuries. The Praça-Forte de Almeida, built during the 17th century, is the main ex-libris of the walled town. From an aerial view, it is possible to accurately identify a huge 12-pointed star surrounding its well-preserved walls, a National Monument since 1910. In Praça-Forte, several historical battles took place, given its proximity to the Spanish border, and here takes place recreations that usually attract a lot of public.
