This House works currently as Mourilhe country Hotel, being located about ten kilometres of Montalegre. It is a legend associated with this construction, that lived here four sisters until, due to an event that the story does not explain, three of them died. One night, the surviving sister will have heard a spirit of a priest saying that she too would die. Terrified, told boyfriend the vision and asked him if it was goodbye to her before she died. He, disbeliever in the existence of spirits, never showed up, but she died and he, with regrets, died too.

Space installed in the old Episcopal Seminary built in 1601 by Dom Nuno de Noronha, Bishop of Guarda. It opened to the public as a museum in 1985, under the name Museu da Guarda, showing the history of the district. The Museum's collection comprises collections of archeology, numismatics, sacred sculpture from the 13th to the 18th centuries, sacred paintings from the 16th to 18th centuries and armory from the 17th to 20th centuries. In 1855-1858 began the construction of the Teatro Aveirense, a project by Araújo e Silva. The building would only be completed in 1878-1881, having been inaugurated by the Dona Maria II Theater Company. In 1912 the animatograph sessions began. Later, in 1947-1949, the space was rebuilt and opened, having been designed by Ernesto Korrodi and Engineer Von Haff. True ex-libris of the city of Aveiro, this room was the stage for a wide range of shows as Ney Matogrosso, Maria Bethânia and Vicente Amigo. It was also the space chosen for the academic soirees of the University of Aveiro.

In July 2006, born the Instituto do Vinho, do Bordado e do Artesanato da Madeira, I.P. (IVBAM), which includes the Instituto do Vinho da Madeira (IVM) and the Instituto do Bordado, Tapeçarias e Artesanato da Madeira (IBTAM). This entity is responsible for the promotion and dissemination of these regional products and the issuer of the certificate of quality for Embroidery and Madeira wine. This institute brings together Madeira embroidery dating from the XIX-XX centuries, costumes and other props, showing the execution process of Madeira embroidery and its history.
