Rococo church with a single nave and chancel with a vestry located near and Bell Tower. Features inside covers in fake wooden barrel vault, with chorus-high wooden pulpits also. The side chapels have date late-Baroque altarpieces of gilt and polychrome straight plant and an axis, and chancel with Rococo altarpiece.

Although its foundation dating from medieval times, in the 16th century, was completely rebuilt. Of the primitive building remains, only, the Gothic bell, the polychrome image of our Lady of Rocamador, 14TH century and a sepulchral slab. In the early 16th century are visible the sink of holy water and a footer of Mudejar tiles, geometric star and enameled.

The former Convento das Mónicas was founded in 1586 by the Abranches family, being then donated to the nuns. It kept is original drawing until the earthquake of 1755 when part of the church collapsed. After the extinction of the religious orders in 1836, the State transformed the building into a reformatory and later into a women’s prison.

This pillory is composed by a four steps basement and a shaft with two twisted and striated sections. On the shaft top there is a capital with Batalha blazon where it stands out Santa Maria da Vitória the patron saint. It is finished by a terminal piece presenting in its centre, the Cross of Chris in iron.

The donjon was built in the beginning of the 20th century. XIV. Keeps the vaults in warhead and the two floors: the bottom was a prison and after weapons Depot; the superior served as noble room of the alcaidaria, with Gothic door and a window that had already been reported in the 16th century drawing of Duarte Dharmas.
