A sober atmosphere, quit good looking and rather attendeed at lunch. It serves light traditional Portuguese meals (pregos, rojões and moelas) and specializes in fish and shellfish (sea cataplanas, grilled dishes on the tile). The bar has a terrace that invites for a drink. It has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

From the top of th stairway of Our Lady of Remédios (Remedies) there are magnificent views of th town of Lamego. The passers by, way down below, in the avenue, look like ants, gouing from one sid to the other. On the stairway, many believers and non-believers alike try to reach the top.

A pedestrian trail that starts at Sistelo, along which one may visit two "brandas", that of the Covo river and that of Alhal. It is along typical rural pathways, with cultivated corn and hay for the cattle.

Center built in the former factory of the whale tanks, where we can visit an exhibition devoted primarily to the sea: marine life, environmental disasters and the problems facing marine life.

Library that is worth to be visited, not only for meeting in the building of the former Jesuit College, as well as by the booty, which includes 40 thousand precious volumes ranging from the 15th century to the 19th.

This garden is composed of boxwood hedges that accompany the existing lake. In the centre there is a simple stone spring. A special note to a fountain in between two flights of stairs. Visits under previous appointment.

A nice, peaceful garden, that belongs to the Dukes Palace, where the Dukes of Bragança once lived. Even though it is not open for visits, it is well taken care of, with a small lake and pleasant corners.

This park belongs to the House Venture Terra, classed as a Public Interest Construction. The building, by the architect Venture Terra, was awarded the Valmor Pize in 1909. It may only be visited under appointment.

The old factory where cod was drought in the sun. One may also view paintings, miniatures and objects related to the fishing of the cod. This space may only be visited by groups of students.
